 For this week's discussion, the task was identifying the process of a ping and a traceroute and illustrating our understanding of these tasks. When I first started the assignment, I found it quite difficult to understand (hints of why it wasn’t on time). Now that I have completed the assignment it wasn’t as difficult as I thought and help me better understand ping and traceroute.     Packets travel through the network by grouping together information like an address for a destination computer, the data size, and the data itself. Ping and traceroute commands are very useful for troubleshooting internet issues. The ping and traceroute commands are essential tools for diagnosing and understanding how data packets travel through the network.

  Feeling overwhelmed throughout the day is quite common in my daily life. I currently work from home, am in school, and, as I mentioned in a previous post, am a mother to a one-year-old boy. To organize my day and help manage my feelings of overwhelm, I usually start with a task list that I input into my Outlook Calendar on my computer.   I decided to review the AAA mobile app for our discussion this week. This app is available to AAA members, enabling them to access their membership and insurance benefits.
